Description

The King’s School Worcester is an English independent school of 900 pupils and was refounded by Henry VIII in 1541. The school is adjacent to Worcester Cathedral where the choir performs regularly. All of the Cathedral Choristers are educated at the school. Music plays an important role in the life of the school with numerous choirs and orchestras and a regular series of solo and ensemble concerts each term. The School is proud of the distinguished careers of many former pupils who have had national and international success as performers and conductors. The Music Department organises a tour every two years. Previous tours have been to Paris, Malta and Venice. This year they visit the Westhoek and Talbot House.
