Description

Musica Colne and Home Valley have been established for many years and are based in the West Yorkshire Area in a town called Huddersfield in the UK. Both of the valley's boast a proud music tradition which can be traced back to over 100 years of music making. Currently, the two valleys each have a Music Centre which has over 120 regular members each serving the families of the retrospective areas. For this tour, we have brought together our Senior Wind Bands and Big Bands from both centres in order to provide the students with an educational and musical trip as well as provide a life experience they will not forget. The bands play a varied repertoire of music from Jazz and blues through to more classical pieces such as Elgar's Nimrod as well as film music.
