Twelve names, each leaving a mark in encounters, in letters, at Talbot House.
Twelve stories, that were never finished, but will soon be heard once more.
Their paths converge once more in one place: Railway Dugouts Burial Ground.

Talbot House is delighted to invite you on the evening of 31 July 2026 to listen to what they left behind: in words, in sound, in silence. The Band of the Honourable Artillery Company weaves music amongst the memories to which Talbot House resident Marijke Vandevyvere lends her voice.

This moment of reflection is free of charge. However, we ask  you to register beforehand.

On-site parking is limited. We recommend parking at Zillebeke Lake or CC 't Riet in Zillebeke.

What remains is their memory. What endures is their story.
