Visit to Talbot House
A visit to Talbot House means immersing yourself in the fascinating history of a House full of surprising stories. Get access to a permanent exhibition about the origins of the House, discover The Old House with the help of a tablet, watch two film screenings in two cinemas and enjoy the peace and quiet in the garden and a temporary exhibition in the Slessorium. We attach great importance to hospitality, which is why we also offer you a cup of coffee or tea after your visit.

Open the doors to the past and enter a living museum. Tap the tablet and be guided individually or with your family through the history of the First World War using moving stories, amusing anecdotes and original artefacts from a tumultuous period.

Museum opening hours
The museum is daily and continuously open from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., the last ticket sale takes place at 4:30 p.m. Groups are also welcome outside opening hours upon request.

Buses
The nearest parking lot for buses is located in Hondstraat and is within walking distance of the House. Via this link you will find other suitable parking lots for buses in Poperinge.
Train
Talbot House is a 10-minute walk from Poperinge station. A train ride from Ypres takes barely 7 minutes. For more information, visit www.b-rail.be.
Parking
The nearest free parking spaces near the Talbot house are located in the Engelstraat, the Oudstrijdersplein, at Cultural Center Ghybe and in the Gasthuis parking.
