The history of Talbot House does not end with the end of the First World War. From the spirit that inspired the soldiers' club for three years, the globally branched Toc H movement grew in the 1920s and is still active today in Great Britain, Australia, South Africa, India, and other countries.

Toc H strives to stimulate opportunity at a local level, promote personal and social development, and create a lasting, positive impact on the well-being of every community in which they operate.

Under the motto of the Every Man's Club, “All rank abandon 'ye who enter here,” they work for peace and reconciliation and commit to welcoming all in friendship, helping those in need, and listening to others without prejudice.

As our local Toc H Belguim closed down, Talbot House took it on itself to continue to the tradition held high by the branch. One of these is the traditional tea service on Armistice on the market square in Ypres.
